Howdy y'all and welcome to my corner of this blog world. I'm glad you stopped by. Sit down for a spell. Let's get to know each other. I'm busy rockin' out and checkin' out all the fantastic blogs linked up to the 2014 Ultimate Blog Party hosted by 5 Minutes For Mom.
As you can tell by the big header I'm owner and operator of Heck Of A Bunch. I've been posting whatever and whenever since May 2009. That's almost five years, yo! Most of my posts are product reviews and giveaways. If you have a hankerin' to win you some stuff, check out the top left hand side of my blog for all my active giveaways. There's no limit to how many you can enter or how many you can win. I also throw in frequent posts about coupons, discounts and deals, and family ramblings. The last five years of my life have been posted on here for the world to see, but mostly for me to look back and reflect and see how my family has grown.
Speaking of family, I have a husband, six kids, a dog, and a cat. Hence, the "Heck Of A Bunch". Allow me to introduce us:
Me and Jason have been married eleven years. We are a blended family, which means six kids but none between us. Almost like the Brady Bunch. He works as a Certified Auto Technician and has a passion for drag cars and all things rough and tough. I work the graveyard shift as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher, fielding calls and directing the correct emergency crews. I recently joined the local roller derby team and learned that at the age of 37 my body hates me for it. I started out as a derby girl, but recently took on the role of referee (that's another post I still have to write).
Emma is the youngest, at 11 years old. She's involved in Girl Scouts and volleyball. She enjoys music and mood swings.
Adam's our 14 year old. He definitely doesn't put up with anyone's crap (he lets no one pull one over on him) but he has the biggest heart ever. He's my right-hand man and hangs out with me a lot.
Logan is 15 and his passion is sports, sports, sports. His roster includes Track and Field, Cross Country, and Basketball. I don't see a lot of him because of sports games or never ending practices.
Allyson is 18 yoa and majoring in graphic design. Country music, muddin', and big trucks are her thing.
Juliann is the 13 year old. She's a hippie girl at heart and likes a lot of things her big sister Allyson does.
Shelby will be 20 years old in just a few days. (Excuse me while I wipe away the tears) She works two part-time jobs and goes to community college, majoring in social work.
So, there you have it. We're a large family full of insanity and frenzy. Love it and wouldn't change it.
Enough about me, tell me about you. I'm all ears.
