I received an assortment of chocolates and nuts from See's Candies and shared them with loved ones. The Polar Bear Box has approximately sixteen pieces of sweet deliciousness. Included is Sugar Sticks, Milk Chocolate Balls, Chocolate Santas, and Lollypops. My kids and I delved into the chocolate pieces and devoured them. All of them were good but my favorite was the Lollypops. They are squared shapes of candy placed on a stick. The chocolates came in a festive box with a polar bear and presents image.
I thoroughly enjoyed each confection from See's Candies but must say the Assorted Pecan Buds were my personal favorite. The box of eighteen milk and dark chocolate pecan buds were individually nestled on their own wrapper. I shared the Assorted Pecan Buds with my co-workers (good deed for the year!) and they didn't last long at all. Pecan Buds are pieces of pecans and rich, vanilla caramel covered in chocolate. Each piece had a generous amount of pecans. There wasn't a whole lot of caramel in each bite and I think it could've used a little more for a better balance but they were still super tasty.
Shelby could live off peanut butter. And it's even better if there's chocolate with it. I knew the Peanut Butter Treat would tickle her fancy. This large confection is a mix of creamy peanut butter layered in milk chocolate. The top is decorated with a Santa Claus image. Trying to get her to share a bite was nearly impossible but I can see why she wanted to keep it all to herself. It's a classic combination of chocolate and peanut butter done right.
The Christmas Candy Bars are packaged in a small box and held together with gold elastic. Included is a cardboard cutout of a snowman. Adding to the cuteness of the package is the deliciousness of the candy bars. The four-pack includes two solid milk chocolate, one milk chocolate with toffee nuggets, and one dark chocolate with almonds. It's hard to say which I liked better but it's not hard to say they were all good. They're all rich and creamy and you can taste the premium quality.
I recently had a gathering in my home and set out See's Candies Salted Nuts as a snack. The nuts came packaged in a gift canister that was vacuum packed for freshness, but I poured them out into a plastic container for the party. Within three hours, the entire container of nuts was gone! See's Candies Salted Nuts have the right combination of nuts, salt flavoring, and natural freshness. Although there was a slight seasoning of salt on the nuts, it wasn't overpowering and I could taste the flavors of the nuts. The nuts included an assortment of high grade cashews, almonds, pecans, walnuts, macadamias and Brazils. They are a tad more expensive than a can of nuts you'd buy at the grocery store but I can almost guarantee that none compare to See's Candies Salted Nuts. Just thinking about them makes me want more!
