DVD Synopsis:
Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade take male bonding to hilarious new heights in this outrageous, no-holds-barred comedy that gets funnier every time you watch! The Watch will release on DVD and Blu-ray November 13, 2012.
There’s trouble brewing in peaceful Glenview, Ohio. That’s why four civic-minded citizens, armed with flashlights, walkie-talkies and spiffy new jackets, have teamed up to safeguard their community. But the guys find more than they bargained for when they uncover an alien plot to destroy Earth, and now these bumbling heroes are Glenview’s only chance to save the neighborhood — and the world — from annihilation!
My Review:
I viewed The Watch with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. The movie stars Ben Stiller who plays a Costco manager named Evan. Evan discovers a security guard murdered in the store and decides to form a neighborhood watch. Three men join Evan in the neighborhood watch and form a bond of raunchiness, slapstick humor and immaturity. It is later found out that aliens are the ones who have done the murder and have a plan to destroy the world. It is up to Evan and his team of vigilantes to save Earth.
Vince Vaughn had me laughing hard throughout the movie. He was my favorite actor, especially when I took notice that he kept calling one of his cohorts different vulgar nicknames throughout the scenes. Ben Stiller did a good job as well but his humor fell flat. This movie is for adults and definitely not recommended for children. There is profanity, nudity, and raunchiness throughout. It appeals mostly to men but I, for one, got several laughs out of this movie.
I received DVD for review. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services. Your opinions and results may differ.

I wanted to see this while it was out in the movies, but never got the chance. I don't think it was in the theaters long. The hubby and I are gonna have to keep an eye out for this on Netflix.
This definitely doesn't look like the kind of movie I'd watch, but I bet my boyfriend would watch it! LOL
I might give it a watch just to say I saw it though ^.^
Ive never heard of this before but looks like something we would like
Rick so wanted to see this one!
This movie was just a little too crude for me to get into, but my husband was laughing out loud the whole time. I should have figured that it was a guy comedy based on the story and actors, but I didn’t think that they would take it to the extreme that they did. I skipped the movie in theaters because it got awful reviews, but a coworker at DISH recommended it to me as being really funny. We usually have similar tastes and because I can get as many movies as I want at a flat rate with my Blockbuster @Home account from DISH I figured, why not rent it. It is not that I was offended or didn’t enjoy it, but I wouldn’t watch it again by myself. I would recommend it for guys that like rude humor because I know my husband and son thought it was hilarious.
