Random Tuesday Thoughts - What Happened To Fall

Welcome to Random Tuesday Thoughts, hosted by Stacy Uncorked.  Head on over to her site if you'd like to link up and play along with your random self.
----------------------------------

My husband purchased this lovely bouquet of fall flowers for our 10 year anniversary.  So sweet...

Speaking of fall, I'd sure like to see more of the season.  It seems like we've went from sweltering heat to BRRR!  Fall is my favorite time of the year and I feel like I'm being jipped.
------------------------------------

Halloween festivities took place over the weekend at the campground.  This mama dressed up like a hot mess, complete with a tutu and tie-dye shirt.
---------------------------------

Shelby, our oldest, hosted an anniversary dinner for me and Jason at the campground Saturday evening.  It was a small affair with lots of food.  My son, Adam, baked two cakes for the occasion.  He made one chocolate and one white cake, both with half and half icing.  They were pretty yummy, if I do say so myself.
-----------------------------

I know the planking phase has come and gone but I convinced Shelby to plank on our camper deck.  She laid there forever, once in a while asking when she could get up.  She could've gotten  up a long time ago but I took my sweet time, playfully fibbing that the pictures weren't coming out right or I was having problems with the camera.  She deserved it!

So sweet to buy you flowers! They're beautiful! I prefer a mixed bouquet of flowers as opposed to roses because they always stay alive and fresh so much longer (and I know they're cheaper too). As far as fall goes here in Missouri, we went from warm to neat freezing. I was really looking forward to some cool, crisp fall air! I'm hoping it will warm up a little here, for awhile at least. Happy Anniversary!
