I avoid doctors like the plague. Not because I'm scared of them but because I don't believe half of what they say. And I can think of other more fun things to spend my money on than a doctor visit. Guess I'm going to have to pony up and shop around for a doctor in town. I've been having severe upper stomach pains and I'm almost positive it's ulcers. The pain is starting to override my stubbornness.

For as long as I can remember, Allyson has made it perfectly clear she's not a pretty princess and will not, under any circumstances, go to school dances that require a dress. Not quite sure what caused the change in mind, but she recently announced she's going to homecoming this year. She even went ahead and picked up a prom dress when she went shopping for the homecoming dress.

---------------------------I'm pretty fiercely loyal to my friends and family. Call on me and I've got your back. That is, until you stab me in mine. It was a very tough decision but I told someone very dear to me yesterday that I'm severing ties. When some one's toxicity of their personal drama spills out and spreads like a disease to me, then I have to call it quits.

Logan's baseball team won regionals Saturday and will be moving on. Sports aren't my thing, but seeing my kids win is.

I'm LOVING LOVING the dresses. Is the prom dress like peacock feathers on the bottom? VERY beautiful choices! Glad she is going to go and enjoy, she'll look back and remember them.
I'm sorry about the friend, I'm the same way :(. It's so hard to do but sometimes it just has to be done. HUGS!

About the ulcers: have you tried the stuff that has the active cultures in it? Also, try taking Ginger- the capsules are available on Swanson.com
Another good remedy to heal the stomach is a good eggy custard- easy to digest and very soothing. Give these a try for a week- THEN call a doctor, but I don't think you'll need to. I had horrble ulcers last year and the combination of the above items healed me up. I still take the ginger from time to time.
I'm the same as you - I avoid doctors like a plague. Sorry about your upper stomach pains - is it possible it's gall bladder? I had to have mine removed a couple of years ago since it was an ugly mess. :)

You can only be fiercely loyal when there's no knife sticking out of your back. Then all bets are off - I'm the same as you, and have had to sever ties or else the knife would have been twisted and the toxic personal drama would have won. ((HUGZ!))

Those are beautiful dresses, so whatever happened to change her mind, she seems to have some great taste in dresses. LOL
I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well! I completely understand the doctor thing; to me, doctors are no better than sleezy mechanics.
That is until you find a halfway decent one. Then you stick to them like glue!
I also agree with the friend thing; it's hard sometimes, but you've got to do what's best for YOU.
I do not like doctors either. My upper stomach pains that left me in so much pain I lie in fetal positions for hours. It was my gall bladder and I had to have it removed. Go get your stomach checked hope it is nothing serious! WTG to your boy yay!!
