“Iron Man: Armored Adventures” follows Tony Stark, 16-year-old inventor and heir to the billion-dollar corporation Stark International, as he battles the enemies of world peace with his revolutionary armor technology. Growing up, Tony had always lived a life of luxury, but everything went horribly wrong when a tragic plane accident robbed him of his father and nearly cost him his own life. Eager to honor the memory of his dad, Tony now uses his suit of invincible armor and technical know-how to protect those who would also fall prey to tragedy, corruption and conspiracy. My Review:
My boys are now 13 and 14 years old so they're not real keen on cartoons anymore. That is, unless the cartoon features kick-butt superheros, villains, and action! The Iron Man movie was a hit with my boys so they were agreeable to watching the cartoon series. This DVD collection features episodes 7 through 12 of the series. You don't have to watch the first six episodes to get in on the plots and storylines but I think a die-hard of this series would want the first episodes as well. As for my boys, they enjoyed watching Iron Man fight crime against some pretty impressive villains.
