My large family became even larger August 3rd. I became a great-aunt for the umpteenth time when my nephew and his fiancee had their first child, a boy. I haven't seen Kale Wayne in person yet but can't wait to. From the photos, he's as cute as everyone else in the family.

Today is my step-daughter, Juliann's 12th birthday. Happy birthday Juliann!! Her dad is going to cook her a special supper tomorrow night.

Logan did a 5K run on Saturday and won a medal for his age division, 14 and under. From this picture, you would've thought someone peed in his Wheaties. Nah, he just doesn't like mom taking his pic.

Some gals get diamonds and flowers from their men. I got a new Jagermeister cooler. He bought it for me at a charity auction. It holds two bottles of Jager on one side and beer on the other.

Me and US Cellular had it out today. I signed up under a family plan a little over a month ago and only because the company I was with was sold out by them. I thought it was pretty clear when I signed up that I didn't want Internet, just simple calling and texting. Unbeknownst to me, I was accessing the Internet when I'd throw the phone in my purse (kinda like butt dialing). My bill ended up being way more than necessary. When I asked US Cellular why I had Internet when I specificially told them I didn't want it, their answer was that I didn't ask for it to be blocked. Excuuuuse me, didn't know I had to use specific magic words to make the spell work. I had a customer service rep block access so there's absolutely no way I can accidentally access it.

I'd be ticked with US Cellular, too. I think all cell phone companies are awful at this point.

Woo hoo another nephew to add. That's cool. I have a small family. It's so neat when a baby is born.
