GreenCupboards - Review and Giveaway

GreenCupboards is a leading online retailer of eco-friendly products for homes and businesses.

Greencupboards targets consumers who strive to do the right things to sustain the planet, yet are challenged to find a broad selection of eco-friendly products that work and cost about the same as a their non-green counterparts.  They currently provide approximately 15,000 unique items from over 600 suppliers.

GreenCupboards was kind enough to send me a couple items for review. The first was the Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Scent Diffuser in the lemon verbena scent. To be plugged in to a wall outlet, the scent diffuser freshens the room with a pleasing fragrance.  The cover is white with a scalloped edge and has an etching of stick figures holding flowers.  I've enjoyed the aroma that's extruded from the diffuser but wish it would last just a little longer.  

I was also able to review the ECOlunchbox - Three in One Lunch Set.  The three-in-one stainless steel  BPA-free lunchbox is great for packing a child's lunch, which typically contains three items: a sandwich and two side dishes.  My son has used the lunch set a few times now and has every intention on using it often during the school year for his lunches.  Pieces of the lunch set snap together with clips to keep food secure.  The biggest container is big enough to store a sandwich.  The other two containers are perfect for storing snacks and other foods, with one of the containers being bigger than the other.  The lunch set cannot be used in the microwave so we have to put the foods into a microwave-safe dish before heating.  The food we've carried in the lunch set hasn't leaked out or made a mess.  The stainless steel is easy to wash and has a sleek look to it.  The design is simple with no frills or pattern, but that makes it more possible for both my daughters and sons to use it.
