Tree In A Box - Tree Seed Kit Review

Tree In A Box produces tree seed kits with everything you need to grow a tree from seed.  Each kit is easy to use, designed to be "add water only" and grown in a sunny window.

I received the Dawn Redwood tree seed kit for review.  The instruction booklet was full of facts regarding the Dawn Redwood tree, plant classifications, tree facts, tree mythology, and instructions.  Me and the kids learned a lot of things and the instructions were easy to follow.  I just wish the instruction booklet was a little bigger.  It was rather tiny and hard to keep at one page.

The seed packet contained several seeds.  Not all of them are needed but extra are included in case the first tries are unsuccessful.  It's better to use the seed kid in warm weather, although it can be done in colder weather as long as extra caution and care is taken.

Me and the kids have been very careful to tend to our tree seed kit and have been mesmerized with the changes we've seen.  The Dawn Redwood can be grown indoors for several years.  The peat pot with seeds was first on a windowsill but has since been transfered into a larger pot with additional dirt.  We tend to it each day.  There's not have much of a tree at this time, but we've seen the seeds sprout and transform over the last few weeks.  When it is time we will transplant our tree outside by our campsite at the campground.  The tree seed kit takes a little time and patience but the process has been worth it so far.
