Flossing is a hard habit to maintain for most people. Unfortunately, if you're not regularly removing plaque between your teeth and stimulating your gums, your risk for gum disease will increase, from mild gingivitis to severe periodontitis. Go ahead and toss the floss in your house and use Stim-U-Dent Plaque Removers from the Natural Dentist instead.

An effective and fun alternative to flossing, Stim-U-Dent Plaque Removers are pliable, wooden cleaning tools with a patented triangular shape designed to fit between teeth and gently stimulate gums to fight gingivitis. They're the most tested little pieces of wood in dental history and have been shown to work better than floss in reducing plaque, gingivitis and bleeding gums. Stim-U-Dent has beaten floss' results in comparative clinical tests over the last fifty years. They have the American Dental Association Seal of Approval.

Available in Original size or Thin (38% thinner) and made from biodegradable basswood from managed forests, Stim-U-Dent absorbs moisture and becomes flexible so not to harm your teeth or cause them to shift. They also have a pleasing mint flavor. Stim-U-Dent is available at major retailers nationwide including Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, and more, for an average retail price of $3.29. To see a complete list of stores and the entire line of The Natural Dentist products, visit www.bleedinggums.com.
I received Stim-U-Dent Plaque Removers in original size. They come in a package that resembles a matchbook and there are 100 picks in each pack. To use Stim-U-Dent, the directions are to moisten the mouth and then insert the pointed end of the plaque remover between teeth with flat side next to gums. Then use a gentle in-and-out motion to remove food particles between the teeth.
Stim-U-Dent Plaque Removers are nice to have on hand when I have food stuck between my teeth. They resemble small flat toothpicks and are coated with mint flavor. The mint isn't overpowering but does give your breath a fresh feeling. My husband keeps a package of Stim-U-Dent in his back pocket while he's at work to remove food from his teeeth when he needs to. He especially likes the very slim packaging that allows him to keep them in his pocket without giving added bulk. The only downside I see with Stim-U-Dent is that they are so tiny they could pose a choking hazard if swallowed or not used properly.
