John Kelly Chocolates - Review and Giveaway

I'm no chocolate connoisseur, but I know good chocolate when I see it.  Sometimes a piece of chocolate will come along that just screams excellence.  From the packaging to the molding, you can usually tell a piece of fine chocolate from your ordinary, run-of-the-mill chocolate.  John Kelly Chocolates is a distinguished and superior chocolate company.

From the factory in the heart of Hollywood, California, John Kelly Chocolates makes their products by hand and wraps each piece with care.  They use only the highest-quality ingredients, and only natural ingredients. Their signature product is Truffle Fudge.  It comes in 17 different flavors and each piece is coated with a decadent outer layer of chocolate.  The Truffle Fudge Gift Box Assortments are packaged in a gift box with grosgrain ribbon and each piece is hand-initialed in chocolate with a letter corresponding to the flavor.  Some of their most popular products are topped with salt to enhance the sweet chocolate.  Their salts include Sel Gris, harvested in France using traditional Celtic methods, Hawaiian Alaea sea salt, solar-evaporated Mediterranean sea salt and sparkling pink salt from the foothills of the Himalayas.

I received two boxes of Truffle Fudge Bites for review, for a taste of three flavors.  The three flavors were Dark Chocolate with French Grey Sea Salt, Peanut Butter with Himalayan Pink Salt, and Semi-Sweet Chocolate and Caramel with Hawaiian Red Alaea Sea Salt.  I shared the chocolates with my co-workers and received an unamimous agreement that the chocolates were high-quality and very palatable.
Peanut Butter with Himalayan Pink Salt is a newer flavor added to the John Kelly Chocolates truffle line.  It's made with a luscious peanut butter fudge with all-natural peanut butter, and is then layered on top of the classic semi-sweet chocolate truffle fudge. It's also covered in a chocolate coating.

Each Truffle Fudge Bite was like delving into a piece of chocolate heaven.  The flavor combinations were delicious and the sea salts cut the sweetness, making a nice combination of salty and sweet.  Because they were so rich and creamy, one piece of chocolate was enough at a time to satisfy a sweet tooth.

I also received a box of Caramel Clusters.  These were my absolute favorite.  The Walnut Caramel Clusters were sprinkled with Mediterranean Sea Salt.  The nuts, salt, chocolate, and caramel were a splendid combination.  John Kelly Chocolates are a little more high-priced than chocolates you'll find at the grocery store, but you will definitely be able to taste the difference and know that John Kelly Chocolates are premium.

Win It!

One person will win a Truffle Fudge Bites Tower.

Ohhh myyy goodness It is sooo hard to narrow it down to one flavor choice bc they are all so mouthwateringly tempting and delicious sounding I wish I could try them all. If I really have to narrow it down to one I would say the CARAMEL Truffle Fudge bites w/out the nuts.
Yummy Yum Yum.
