Circa Desserts - Review

I recently had the opportunity to review the Flourless Chocolate Torte with Ganache.  I baked it as a special dessert one night since the whole family was together.  With our busy lives, it's not often that me, Jason and all six kids can be together all the time.  When we are available together for supper, we like to make special meals and desserts. 

In addition to the dessert mix, the required ingredients were softened butter, eggs, and heavy whipping cream.  Jason did most of the preparations for the chocolate torte, with some help from me.  Baking the torte and creating the ganache was as easy to do as any other dessert mix.  Although the finished product can be garnished with berries, whipped creme or roasted nuts we chose not to add any toppings. 




The Flourless Chocolate Torte with Ganache was restaurant quality.  It had a deep rich chocolate flavor and was enjoyed by all.  Since it was so rich in flavor, everyone ate just a small piece.  We baked the torte in a brownie pan so it didn't come out looking like the finished product on the box, but that's a fault of our own.  Although the chocolate torte with ganache wasn't fancy, due to our own doing, it was supremely delicious.
