Yee Haw! Three weeks ago a couple of good friends got married at camp. It was a true Redneck wedding. There were no frills or fufu, but it was loads of fun. It was the bride's first marriage and the couple wanted it very comfortable and fun for everyone.
The bride's father is deceased so she chose my brother-in-law to escort her to the ceremony in a golf cart and give her away in marriage.
The bride and groom wore t-shirts and hats and got married at their campsite with a large number of friends there to witness.
You don't have to give us a reason to get dressed up in costume! My sister crafted tutus for herself, me and two of our friends. We dubbed ourselves the Overgrown Ballerinas and kinda slid our way in as the bridesmaids.
Forget the stuffiness and formality, this is the kind of wedding I like!

I agree! We have been to a few "Redneck" weddings, they are fun! Love the tutus:)
How fun! I am also admiring the tutu-ness of it all. :) Would have LOVED to have seen you all doing the Funky Chicken dance!! :D
I would loved to have attended this wedding! Looks like it was so much fun indeed.

That is awesome! My cousin had a redneck wedding! She wore a cute black dress and all of the guys wore black jeans and Harley t-shirts. Everyone, including the bride wore Harley boots. It was so much fun!
Congrats to the couple!
That looks like such a fun and genuine celebration of life!
This looks like so much fun! I love the tu-tus!
I love how you guys got dressed up and 'slid' in as you referred to it as part of the bride's wedding party. LOL
This sounds like one very unique wedding for sure; definitely a memorable one :)
OMGosh I love the tutus! How much fun and if that is what they wanted then that is perfect.
I love it!
Thanks for stopping by. I love your Post. I have never seen nor been to one of these weddings. This is wonderful, what fun. Everyone looks so happy and having fun. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds like a fun and relaxed wedding! Good for them!
I love this! Way too much money is being spent on lavish ceremonies. I'm sure everyone had a wonderful time!
