Cobblestone Cookies are the award-winning glazed gingerbread tile cookies originated in Sonoma County, California. Winner of multiple awards, including first place at Sonoma Harvest Fair, the beautiful, molded cookies are big, thick, rich, soft and full of old world spices. The floral and grape cluster pattern on these hand-rolled, glazed gingerbread tiles dates back to mid-16th century in Southern Germany, representing the intricately designed sweets of that time. Cobblestone Cookies are always delivered fresh because they are baked to order. These large tile cookies are over 1/4 pound each and are made with all natural and fresh ingredients without any preservatives.
I received four individual gingerbread tile cookies and was first grabbed by the size of each individual cookie. They are mighty in size and big enough to share or eat part now, part later. The cookies are designed with leaves, pumpkins, vines, and flowers. They indeed have a cobblestone look to them.
Each cookie is individually wrapped. Because of the size and thickness of the cookies, my family split them and shared between all of us. The cookies are very soft and taste fresh. Ginger and cinnamon are the most notable flavors in the cookies. The subtle glaze gives the cookies just the right amount of sweetness. Cobblestone Cookies has turned gingerbread tile cookies into edible art.

Now I must say, that's one HECK of a cookie! It doesn't even look like a cookie either. I'm not the biggest fan of gingerbread, but I wouldn't mind giving this one a try!
