Clever Cookie - Review and Giveaway

When shopping for birthday, wedding, baby or holiday gifts I seek out the unique.  Rather than giving an ordinary gift that can be found just anywhere, I try to give one that stands out.  Clever Cookie is a company that sells cookie baskets and cookie gifts that make great treats for any holiday or occasion.  If that wouldn't make a recipient happy, I don't know what would!

Clever Cookie was kind enough to send me a couple cookie arrangements, one being the Bouncing Baby Girl Cookie Arrangement.  This beautiful and delicious package can be personalized with the baby's name, birthdate and birthweight.  A great gift for a new baby girl, the cookie arrangement comes with cellophane wrap and ribbon.  Once you unwrap the outer packaging, you'll be awed by the professionally decorated cookies and how they're arranged.

This particular arrangement included seven decorated shortbread cookies attached to a stick and neatly placed inside a basket with a yellow ribbon.  Each cookie is individually wrapped for freshness and the sticks can be easily removed.  Although I would have liked just a little more sweetness in the shortbread cookies, they were tasty and the icing artwork was adorable. 

I also received the Gourmet Cookie Birthday Basket.  It included an assortment of 24 fresh baked cookies along with decorated cake and balloons shortbread cookies, all arranged in a basket.  Again, the shortbread cookies were very beautifully decorated.  The fresh baked cookies were a variety of chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and double chocolate.  They were wrapped in batches of six.  The fresh baked cookies were absolutely delicious, with chocolate chip being our favorite. 

Both arrangements I received were thoughtfully positioned.  The cookies were pleasant, and none of the cookies were crumbled, honoring the "Crumble-Free Guarantee".  I'd definitely recommend Clever Cookie as a source for a special cookie gift to mark memorable occasions.
