I don't have the addictions myself, but have had loved ones personally affected by drugs and alcohol. It's a downward spiral that grips the user and the people who care for the addict. I've watched two family members numb their pain with drugs. I cried many times myself, wanting it to stop and wanting our family to be normal. Thankfully, both family members have recovered, thanks to services from professional treatment facilities and counseling.
If you or someone you care about is addicted to alcohol or drugs, you may want to consider Bradford Health Services, a drug abuse rehab center with proven treatment that have been helping adults and adolescents get back on the path to a full, rewarding life – free of alcohol and drugs. They offer an innovative, surprisingly affordable continuum of inpatient and outpatient care that provides individuals and their families hope, healing, and a safe haven for recovery.
With more than one location, Bradford has treatment programs for adults and adolescents. Through a variety of innovative inpatient and outpatient services, they’re bringing new hope to patients and their families. Abstinence from alcohol and all mood-altering drugs is their immediate and primary goal for patients. Recovery methods are based on principles of the 12-Step programs and family members join the patient to learn about the addiction and the family's role in the recovery process. The ultimate goal of treatment is to help patients and their families become better functioning and more productive without the use of alcohol or other drugs. Recovery begins with the cessation of alcohol or drug use, and continues during treatment with the learning of new activities and behaviors that support a lifestyle of sobriety.

This is a hard situation for so many. But there are great places that can help thankfully!
We have a Bradford Health Services very close to where I live. My ex BIL went to treatment there years ago. I visited him there and the facility looked very nice. If any of my family ever needed these services I would use Bradfords services.
