Aurora - Are We There Yet? Review and Giveaway

With summer travel season upon us, parents look for gadgets and toys that entertain for hours and sometimes forget those that keep kids comforatble and safe.  Aurora's "Are We There Yet?" line has a collection of backpacks with leads, plush animals, ID tags, neck rests, and hat/scarf/mitt combos to make traveling with kids easier.  The Are We There Yet? line is based on original characters the company created.  Aurora, a toy and gift manufacturer, sent me a couple of products from their Are We There Yet? line to review.

The Are We There Yet? neck rests are available in five different animal designs.  I received the gator.  The neck rest is a simple concept with a cool look.  The gator is coiled to fit around a child's neck and add comfort when travelling for long periods.  The plush retains its circular shape to give a snug fit to a child's neck every time.  Kids will be amused by how the neck rest keeps their neck from hurting and by how cute the critter surrounding their neck is.  My kids use their neck rest mostly when they are planning on takin ga nap in the vehicle during travels.  It keeps their heads from bobbing all around.  Although it's main purpose is to be a neck rest, it can also be a cute plush toy for your kids to play with while travelling. 

With six different animal characters to choose from, the "By My Side" backpacks with tethers are a helpful aid to parents who would like to keep their kids nearby.  I'm not quite sure how I feel about putting kids on a restraint but at least these backpacks don't resemble dog leashes.  How it works is that the child puts the straps on like a backpack and is safely led around with a lead.  The leads are removable and the attached plush animal gives off a cute and cuddly appearance.  The backpacks, in my opinion, would be most helpful in large crowds where a child could esily get lost.
