Mint Pics - Canvas Print Review and Facebook Pet Photo Contest

I took a photo of five of my children and dog late last  year to incorporate into Christmas cards.  With Mint Pics, I was able to take that photograph and have a watercolor canvas print made.  All I had to do was upload the desired photo to the site and choose which size and finish of canvas print I wanted.  The process was quite simple.  Before receiving the finished product, Mint Pics sent me a link to preview the artwork to make any desired changes. 

Once I received the canvas print from Mint Pics, I was impressed with the finished result.  The original color photograph that I submitted was turned into a black and white watercolor painting of my children and dog.  I was struck by the originality and the overall look of the print.  My photograph was turned into a piece of art and now hangs in my living room for all to see.

Mint Pics is hosting a Pet Photo Contest on their Facebook page.  All you have to do is upload your pet's pic, and get your friends to vote.  The person with the most votes wins.  the prize is a 16x20 canvas print of your choice by Mint Pics.  All entries must be submitted by May 20, 2012 and voting starts May 21st.  All votes must be in by May 24th and the winner will be announced on May 25th.  The Facebook contest is open to US citizens, 18 years of age or older and only one vote per person will be counted.
