Just For Baby With Love is an Etsy shop that features crocheted blankets, block rattles, and hats. The shop also offers print-at-home cards. Stephanie, owner of Just For Baby With Love, was kind enough to crochet a sock monkey hat for my step-daughter, Emma.
My mother is quite good at crocheting afghans and has dabbled in a few other handmade projects. The crafty gene wasn't passed on to me, so I can appreciate the craftsmanship and skill that goes into crocheted and handmade items.
Stephanie consulted with me about what colors I wanted for the hat and head measurements, then set about making it. When it was received in the mail, I was pleased with the end result and Emma was ecstatic to wear it. Emma's favorite animal is the monkey and she's particularly fond of sock monkeys. The monkey's eyes are made of buttons and the two braided ties can be looped or left to dangle. The hat is unique, keeps her head warm, fits snugly, and is crocheted beautifully.
