Happy Toy Machine - Review and Giveaway

My kids are at the age where electronics are almost cooler than toys and stuffed animals.  The kids still keep and play with some stuff frequently, but it's usually the things that hold attached memories to them.   My son, Adam, recently created a custom plush toy from Happy Toy Machine, and it's near and dear to him because he developed it on his own, from start to finish.

Happy Toy Machine lets you create your own cool custom plush stuffed toy.  You can use the toy designer tools to design your own toy from body parts and facial features to text and decorations.  Or, you can skip the toy creator page and just purchase a plush toy from the toy gallery that other people have designed.

When you first start out creating a toy, you have the option to choose from a bear, puppy, cat, bunny, robot, monster, alien, cow, or surprise.  Adam went with the alien.  Younger kids may need help using the tools to design their own toy, but Adam needed very little assistance from me.  Once you choose which creature or animal you'd like to make, it's on to the fun part of customizing it to your liking.  Adam played around for quite a while, getting his alien juuuust right.  Once the body parts were exactly as he wanted, Adam used the color tool to make the alien and outfit with the colors he wanted.  He was even able to add his name to the front of the shirt.

If you want to play around and create your own plush toy, you can do it as many times as you want for free.  You can even save your design and share it with others.  You must log in to save your designs.  The toys from Happy Toy Machine are made of polyester plush fleece fabric and polyester fiber stuffing.  They are manufactured in the United States, and all of the fabric and stuffing material is non-toxic and child-safe. 

Once Adam received his final product, he was quite satisfied.  It came out exactly as he created it.  He said that he liked that he could make his own stuffed toy, exactly as he wanted it.  Although Adam doesn't play with his alien toy much, you can tell he has pride in it.  Everyone is under strict orders that they can't play with it because it's HIS creation and the toy lays atop his bed everyday.
