Sissy Little - Vinyl Wall Decal Review

I have a space in the hallway between the living room and kitchen that I knew would be perfect for a vinyl wall decal from Sissy Little.  I chose the Vino Vino Vino wall art and was able to customize the colors of the bottle, grapes, and leaves and vines. 

When I received the decal in the mail, I opened it to see that also included a smaller decal to use as a sample, a set of instructions, and a plastic squeegee.  The decal came in three separate sections.  One was the bottle itself, another was the grapes and the last was the vines and leaf.

Applying the vinyl wall decal to my wall took some time and precision but it wasn't a hard task to do. It's important that the area where the decal is being applied on is clean and dry. Using masking tape, I positioned the decal where I wanted it on my wall and went over it with the squeegee to remove air bubbles. Slowly and methodically, I removed the contact paper from the wall decal so it would stick to my wall. With the exception of a couple of areas where the contact paper wanted to stick, I was able to just pull the contact paper down. When it came to those particular fine details, I used the tip of my fingernail to press the vinyl on the wall.

After applying the bottle, I cut the grapes up in smaller sections and applied them.  There were holes on the bottle decal portion to indicate where the grapes needed to be applied.  I wasn't able to exactly match them up but was able to get close. 

My daughter's boyfriend helped add the grapes to the bottle and apply the leaf and vines.  We had to print out the picture of the vinyl wall decal from the Sissy Little website to reference where the detail decals needed to be placed.  It would have been more convenient if a picture of the decal would've been included rather than having to print it from the site. 

After applying the decal, I was impressed with the end result. The decal is large and bold and makes a strong statement in the room located in.
