America's ToothFairy Kids Club - Giveaway

Did you know that tooth decay is the #1 chronic childhood disease? Millions of children suffer from severe tooth decay in such pain, that they are unable to eat, sleep and learn. The good news is that it’s completely preventable. The National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy® (NCOHF) is asking for your help in the fight against tooth decay by taking part in good oral health practices with your children and signing them up for the America's ToothFairy Kids Club

While severe tooth decay is a growing problem, it is also treatable, curable, and preventable through basic education and proper oral hygiene practices.  Watch this funny, engaging special video PSA featuring Larry the Cable Guy and Brady Riter, starts of the all-new Tooth Fairy 2 movie.  The PSA  promotes good oral health habits for children including brushing, flossing and rinsing twice a day and visiting a dentist regularly.

Also visit www.AmericasToothFairyKids.org to sign up for the America’s ToothFairy Kids Club. Members of this club receive a personalized letter from the ToothFairy herself and quarterly fun, educational activities! (Donations are not required to participate in the club, but they are certainly appreciated! All individual donations go directly to helping at-risk children.)

Win It!

One person will win Tooth Fairy 2 on DVD.

I learned that affiliates use our donations to provide supplies for community health fairs, oral health screenings for at-risk children, fluoride and sealants to prevent tooth decay, toothbrushes and toothpaste for thousands who don’t have these basic supplies at home, oral health education and, in many cases, the first dental visit these children have ever had.

I learned that the NCOHF and Dr. Esther Wilkins have teamed up for an International Education Program to teach children around the world how to care for their teeth and gums. They actually offer volunteer opportunities, so anybody interested can get the information right there on the website.

Thanks!

I love that Toothfairy Island Toothfairy Island (TFI) is a science-based curriculum available in English or Spanish. The materials include puzzles, games, puppets, charts and other hands-on activities that help children have fun while learning about good oral health. The interactive, character-based TFI program expands on the universality of the Toothfairy. It is based on the belief that the mouth is the gateway to the body and therefore, oral health is closely tied to overall health and well-being.
AWESOME!!
