New Hour-Long "Team Umizoomi" Special Premieres Today

There’s a Shape Bandit on the loose taking shapes from all over Umi City and it’s up to Team Umizoomi to save the day in the new hour-long special, “Team Umizoomi vs. The Shape Bandit,” premiering today, Jan. 20, at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. The Umi Team must identify shapes, numbers and patterns, count and measure in order to stop the Shape Bandit. 

Nickelodeon recently launched Team Umizoomi Math: Zoom into Numbers, a math-based app inspired by the preschool series. Developed by curriculum consultants and tested by focus groups, the app features five touchable, deeply leveled games (23 levels in all) and takes the curriculum and excitement from the television screen to mobile devices using state of the art designs. It has been the number-one educational app on iTunes for several weeks.
