YourCover - Heck Of A Holiday Review and Giveaway

*To see the Rafflecopter form and to enter giveaway, please click on actual blog link post.*

I love gifts that are special to the recipient.  I have a few that I've personalized for my family this year for Christmas.  One that I've found to be distinguished and representative of exceptional service is YourCover.  It is a company that enables users to create their own fake magazine covers online.  By simply uploading your own photos and adding text using the templates and text suggestions, you can create personalized magazine covers for someone special in your life.

I chose to create a Celebrity magazine cover for my son, Adam.  Other than a few blunders, he's a wonderful child in every way.  I wanted to let him know that he's a celebrity in my eyes and how special he really is.  I first started by uploading a photo of Adam, then I chose which magazine cover I wanted based on the choices available.  Some categories of covers include business, sports, family, and birthday.  There is a decent range of categories to choose from, but feel it could be further expanded by adding more subsections in the "interests" category.

Once I decided that I wanted the Celebrity magazine cover for Adam, I used the template to edit the text to personalize the cover to my liking.  You can even change the text to your desired color, style, and font.  There are suggestions given on headlines to use and you can have as much or as little as you want on your cover.

When I finished with that, I went through the ordering process.  There's the option to have your magazine cover printed by the company or purchase a digital download.  The digital download service is a little cheaper.  YourCover magazine covers can be delivered to you in several different forms as well.  You can add more info to a back cover or add a photo frame.  You can also order a poster or t-shirt featuring your magazine cover design.  I ordered a one-sided personalized magazine cover with a wooden frame.

Once I completed my order, I was contacted by customer service by phone almost immediately.  I had misspelled the word "issue" on my magazine cover and the photo was slightly slanted.  Customer Service brought it to my attention.  I was grateful they were so attentive and that they corrected it.

The magazine cover arrived packaged in bubble wrap a few days later.  Words cannot explain how pleased I am with the finished project.  Displayed in a beautiful wooden frame is the magazine cover I created for Adam with his photo and name in several places.  What I was even more pleased with was my son's reaction to it.  He was over the moon and pleasantly surprised that he had his very own framed magazine cover featuring him.  He's thanked me many times over for it and has it displayed proudly in his bedroom.

Win It!

One person will win a personalized magazine cover print with wooden frame.
