There was a poster contest where participants were asked to make a sign for their favorite team player. No one in our group won but Queen Jezebelle had the most posters made for her.

I don't get excited about sports but I could hardly contain myself. I was the crazed fan on the edge of her seat, rooting and cheering for the DRDC team. My adrenaline was pumping. DRDC beat the other team by over 250 points. It was an awesome time and I can't wait to watch the girls next season.

This looks so fun! I wish we had roller derby around here! I would love to go watch. Heck I would like to play! What a way to work off some steam huh? Im gonna look into it and make sure the rink here doesnt have roller derby. And find out where the closet team is! Thanks 4 the post!
Oh man, I'm so excited you took pictures!! I would love to be able to attend a bout-Actually, one of my goals is to join a team when I'm really doing good :)
I had to look and see if there is a roller derby here in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids, Iowa..and there is!! Yea! My husband reminded me that we talked about going to an event a few years ago, but it never hsppened. Maybe it should! Thanks for the reminder!
