Lilla Rose - Review and Giveaway

I have very thick hair.  I usually just throw it up in a ponytail because I don't want to mess with it.  Some barrettes and clips don't work well with my mane.  Fortunately, I recently found out about Lilla Rose, a company that creates easy-to-use and comfortable hair accessories.  

Lilla Rose is a direct sales company that sells hair clips and jewelry for women.  Consultants earn extra income and hostesses can earn free products.  Their main item is the Flexi Hair Clip that comes in various sizes and designs.  Videos are available for viewing to determine which size you need for your hair and how to do different hairstyles.  Sarah Montee is the Lilla Rose consultant who introduced me to the Lilla Rose products. 

For review I chose the large Flowering Fern flexi clip.  To choose which one I wanted was no simple feat.  There are many beautiful designs.  I finally chose the design that I did because I could wear it while dressing casually or formally.  I've experimented with different hairstyles using the hair clip.  I've noticed that I would need a smaller size of Flexi to just put my hair halfway up.  If I try with the Flexi I have, it slips out after a while.  My favorite and most easiest to do on my hair is the Tails Up style.  I begin with a ponytail and twist the hair up toward the crown of the head, then slide the pin under the twist.  Then I fasten the clip to complete the look. 

In the picture above, I've used the Flexi hair clip along with a ponytail.  I put my hair up in a regular ponytail, then use the hair clip right above it.  It's helped keep layers of hair from falling down as it tends to do after a while.  I'm still experimenting with different hairstyles using the flexi clip.  I like the classy, grownup look of the hair clip and how well it holds my hair in place.
