Carmex - Review and Giveaway

As a member of the Carmex Blog Squad, I was given the opportunity to review their Healing Cream and Healing Lotion.  Carmex, famous for its lip balms, has been used by my family frequently.  The teenage girls like to wear the lip balms on their lips and my husband has even put Original Carmex on the heels of his feet to soften them.  I swear, it worked!

Because of past experiences with Carmex, I was excited to try the Healing Cream and Healing Lotion.  I have very dry skin, with rough patches in some areas.  It's important I have products that are effective, yet affordable.  Two of the products were full-size while the other two were travel size.  The two bigger bottles are in my bathroom while the two smaller ones are in my purse.

The Carmex Healing Lotion, with daily application, helps protect skin and keep dryness away.  The rich healing ingredients of Aloe and Vitamin E nourish and moisturize skin.  The Carmex Healing Cream has nine healing ingredients that penetrate and help repair very dry, rough, or cracked skin.  Neither are greasy and don't leave white residue on your skin when rubbed in.  Everyone in my household, from the husband and kids to the live-in nephew and myself, grab the Carmex Healing Lotion and the Carmex Healing Cream everyday and apply it to our skin.  They help keep our skin soft and protect our skin from the cold weather that's come forth.  When my elbows start to get very rough patches, which they do often, I apply the travel size Healing Cream to them.  I've noticed they aren't as scaly and dry as they used to be.  Both products have the same scent, which I can't quite explain, but it's neither too feminine or too masculine.  Since everyone in the household is using the Healing Cream and Healing Lotion, I can safely say that they're well liked in my family.
