Chronicle Books is making the holidays happier for others with their 2nd Annual Happy Haul-idays Giveaway. They will be giving away up to $500 worth of Chronicle books to one lucky blogger and one commenter on the winning post. The winning blogger will also be able to choose one charity to receive up to $500 of books from them.
Me and my kids love to read so I'd be thrilled if I won Chronicle books. I'd be even more thrilled if one of my commenters won the same haul of books. The best thrill would be the opportunity to give books to a charity as well. I'd choose Ladies of Charity, a local non-profit organization that gives toys, books, clothing, and hygiene products to families in need. It's a charity that helped me out when I first got divorced and I'm grateful for the services they provided me.
