LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace - DVD Review

DVD Synopsis:

A routine Jedi Academy field trip is turned into a rip-roaring comic adventure in LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. Tour guide Master Yoda leads a group of rambunctious Jedi younglings through Senate chambers when he senses a disturbance in the Force. Summoned to help save the Republic, he discovers that one of the younglings, Ian, has secretly boarded his ship... and young Ian has a taste for adventure. Meanwhile, C-3PO and R2-D2 are put in charge of the boisterous group and find themselves in over their heads. As the evil Sith prepare to wreak havoc, it's up to Yoda and the Droids to ensure that their young charges aren't torn to bits!

Special Features:

- The Quest for R2-D2
- Bombad Bounty
- Star Wars in 2 Minutes (Part 1)
- Star Wars in 2 Minutes (Part 2)
- The Clone Wars Animated Comics

My Review:

Logan and Adam both like Star Wars and LEGO building blocks, so they were excited to watch a show that combined both.  They watched this movie a couple of times over the weekend and were in tune to the adventure.  They laughed at the humor dotted throughout the scenes and discussed which Star Wars character is their favorite.

LEGO Star Wars:  The Padawan Menace is only 22 minutes running time, which I consider somewhat short for a DVD.  The boys thought it was kind of short too, but liked the plot and content.  Included is a LEGO mini-figurine of a young Han Solo.  Logan and Adam have added it to their LEGO collection for future play.

I received DVD for review.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products.  Your opinions and results may differ.
