ZhuZhu Babies - Review and Giveaway

By now, I'm sure you're familiar with ZhuZhu Pets, the realistic, interactive, plush hamsters that talk, move, and navigate their way around.  The line has expanded since first coming out in 2009, with new hamsters and new accessories.  Now out are ZhuZhu Babies, little critters with their own unique name, birthmark, biography, and collector's number.  I, along with my younger girls and a couple of their friends, was given the opportunity to see what the littlest additions are all about.

  

The ZhuZhu Babies come in a cute package and each have their own little accessories.  Tiny outfits can be purchased separately to dress up the ZhuZhu Babies.  Unlike original ZhuZhu Pets, the Babies have circle rollers on the bottom that make them move around.  All of the babies and pieces they come with are miniature in size so they could be a potential choking hazard for small children.  The ZhuZhu Babies are quite cute and Juliann and Emma, along with their friends, had an enjoyable time playing with them on the Dance Recital Playset and dressing them in outfits.

The ZhuZhu Babies are cute enough on their own, but the girls think they were funner to play with on the playset. The Dance Recital Playset includes three outfits and accessories for the ZhuZhu Babies to "dance".

The set has magnets that make the babies move and there are two scenes to go back and forth between shows. What makes it more lively is that original ZhuZhu Pets can be involved too. The Babies dance on center stage while the ZhuZhu Pets sit along the sidelines to watch. There's also a play piano on one side.
