No Yell Bell - Review and Giveaway

Educational Insights, a manufacturer of educational toys and games, has provided many hours of play to my children. Educational Insights products include subject-specific classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games. Their products are designed by seasoned educators and parents who know that, first and foremost, learning must be fun. The lastest review and giveaway I'm doing for this upstanding company is for the No Yell Bell.

Meant to be used in classrooms as an attention getter, the No Yell Bell features seven sound effects to alert kids.  The seven sounds on the bell are a hand bell, bugle call, alarm clock ring, space alert, twinkle chimes, tick-tock alarm, and applause.  It requires four AAA batteries, which are not included. 

Although I am not a teacher and don't have a classroom, the No Yell Bell has been lots of fun for my family.  By the handle is the number selector to choose which sound you want to hear.  For instance, if I want to hear the sound of an alarm clock ring, I turn the selector to the 3 indicator and tilt the bell to hear the sound.  To stop any sounds, I simply turn the rotator to the OFF position or return the bell to its upright position.  There's even a volume dial to adjust the volume setting. 

We've been using the No Yell Bell when we go on golf cart rides at camp.  It's more of a fun device for us.  When we go on golf cart rides, the kids turn the bell on to the sounds they want and alert other campers of us passing by.  It kind of takes place of a horn.  The sound quality is superb and we can control how loud or quiet we want the noises to be.  My favorite sound is the bugle call.  I won't lie, me and my husband play with the No Yell Bell as much as the kids do.  I think the No Yell Bell is a nice alternative to use in classrooms to get students' attention.  But I also think it's a neat apparatus to use just for fun.
