Needing Ideas For A Bridesmaids Viewing Party

Bridesmaids will release on DVD September 20th and I'm going to celebrate with a themed viewing party at my campsite.  I can't wait to see the comedy with my girlfriends and have a good time while watching it.

The movie centers around thirty-something Annie (Kristen Wiig) who's hit a rough patch but finds her life turned completely upside down when she takes on the Maid of Honor role in her best friend Lillian’s (Maya Rudolph) wedding. In way over her head but determined to succeed, Annie leads a hilarious hodgepodge of bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to the big event.

I've been a bride three times, twice to the same man.  Now that's a storyline!  I've also been a bridesmaid in several weddings.  Most have went well, while others were not so swell.  Bridesmaids, the movie, seems right up my alley.

I want the Bridesmaids viewing party to be a lot of fun for us girls.  I already have a few plans in mind.  I'm going to host it at my campsite with a fancy cake and adult beverages.  I'm also going to ask that all guests arrive wearing a bridesmaid dress.  I'm not going for formal; I'm going for fun.

Do you have any ideas on adult beverages that would go well with the theme or games to play?  Is there something that you would do to make the viewing party a total blast?  I want it to be a night to remember.

I will be receiving a gift pack from Thinkjam.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

If it were my party... I would do wedding cake, champagne, and hors d'oeuvres (alcohol absorbing - mini pigs in blanket, cheese/ham and crackers, mini cornbread and spinach muffins etc).... Maybe some wedding movie trivia (best friends wedding, sweet home Alabama, runaway bride, made of honor etc) - toilet paper wedding dress competition, longest/highest bouquet toss,

Have fun... Wish I was going! :)

Fun! I would have Strip and Go Naked drinks. 1 can (12 oz) frozen limeade, thawed; 1 juice can vodka; 2 cans beer

Pour juice in a pitcher. Fill can with vodka; pour in pitcher. Add two beers. Mix and serve over ice. Sounds disgusting but totally yummy! Looking forward to seeing some photos :)
