The Party Works - Kids Party Supplies Review and Giveaway

Recently I held a joint birthday party for my son and step-daughter.  The birthday party was a success, due in part to The Party Works.  They provided some favors and decor for the party.

The Party Works is a complete source for kids party supplies and cake decorations, providing over 4000 different items in stock ready to ship to you.  They also offer a wide variety of packages for over 200 birthday party themes, including Super Mario Party Supplies.

To go with the tie-dye/rock'n roll theme I had, I chose to review the Rocker Princess Paddle Balls Assorted and the Rock 'n Roll Party Mints.  The paddle balls, made of plastic assorted colors, came in a package of twelve.  They were smaller than I thought they'd be but they still brought merriment to the kids.  The buttercream party mints were individually wrapped in a black wrapper with guitars and records printed on them.  There were approximately 50 pieces in the bag, which gave me enough to put two in each party bag and still have some left over.  The two party favors were a great addition to the others I had in each bag.

To add a festive touch to the decor, I placed the Birthday Balloons Yard Sign I received in the front yard of our campsite.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that this yard sign is not made out of cheap material.  It's made of sturdy plastic and I'll be using it again for future parties.

Although I didn't use the Zoology Giant Wall Decals at the actual birthday party, I put them up in Adam and Logan's room as part of a surprise for Adam's birthday.  The vinyl decals include one zebra hiding in a bush, one leopard sitting in a tree, one monkey on a tree branch, three butterflies, and one light switch cover.  Included was a squeegee and application instructions.  I didn't use the light switch cover because I thought it was rather small, but the other self-stick vinyls are actually quite large.  The vinyls were easy to apply, with the help of my husband.  Because of the size of the decals, it took me and him together to put them on the wall.  The decals were simply peeled off the backing and placed on the walls after they were cleaned, then pressed down with the squeegee.  Due to wall space, I put one large decal on a wall rather than grouping them together.  The jungle scene looks nice in the boys' room.
