Health Science Labs - Review and Giveaway

Health Science Labs was kind enough to send me a Hello Kitty Therapeutic Cold Pack to review.  I think Hello Kitty has always been adorable and enjoyed seeing the cute design on the cold pack.  The character-licensed therapeutic cold pack is designed to bring comfort and relief from fevers, bumps, and boo-boos.  My boys aren't too particularly keen on using this cold pack since it's girly, but my daughters think it's the neatest and cutest thing to help when they're hurting. 

The Hello Kitty Therapeutic Cold Pack Duo includes one reusable freezer-safe cold pack with Hello Kitty cover for home use and one instant cold pack for travel.  An improved ice pack with Boo-Boo Beads give it softer contour.  For the reusable cold pack, it's stored in the freezer and brought out when needed for use.  The instant cold pack is for single use only and is used by shaking contents to the bottom of the bag, squeezing firmly to rupture inner pouch and shaking it.  Detailed instructions for use are included on the back of the box.  Neither cold pack should be used for more than twenty minutes at a time to prevent numbness.  Most of the fabric on the Hello Kitty cover is white so I advise to make sure the applied area is clean before applying it so it doesn't get dirty.

Two of my girls have had to use the reusable cold pack for minor scrapes they acquired at home.  The cold feeling applied to the area helped ease the pain.  My oldest daughter has even used the therapeutic cold pack as a cooling agent during the hot days.  She's applied it to her neck and forehead to get some relief from the heat.  It's agreed from all the girls that it's an all-around cute and useful product.
