Enstrom's - Almond Toffee Review and Giveaway

Enstrom's is a company that's being featured for the Heck Of A Celebration blog event I'm hosting. During the event I will be featuring companies that offer products and gifts suitable for birthday parties.

I recently held a joint birthday party for two of my children.  The kids at the party enjoyed cookies made by my mother.  For the adults I had a little something extra, Enstrom Almond Toffee.  Enstrom's is a confection company that is famous for its almond toffee.  They also carry gourmet chocolates and sugar-free treats. 

Delivery from Enstrom is guaranteed when addresses are correct and current. The Almond Toffee is shipped frozen and travels very well even during the summertime when the candy will thaw during transit. Enstrom's recommends refreezing or refrigerating the toffee upon receipt so the candy will return to proper consistency before serving. The toffee can be thawed and refrozen any number of times without damaging the product.  It was very hot out during the time that I received my toffee.  It was thawed when I opened the box but not melted.  I refrigerated the whole box of toffee until the day of the party.

 

I've had toffee before but none quite like this.  The milk chocolate almond toffee's ingredients include California almonds, sweet cream butter and pure cane sugar.  It's also covered in chocolate and sprinkled with crushed almonds.  They came in the form of two bars that were broken off into smaller bite-size pieces.  The toffee was a special treat for adults at the birthday party and it went over quite well.  The toffee is crunchy and hard so I recommend that small pieces be eaten rather than sticking a big piece in your mouth. Once the pieces were broke off, there was plenty for each guest to have a couple and the sizes were plentiful.  To say that Enstrom's milk chocolate almond toffee is delicious is an understatement.  It has a smooth, nutty, buttery flavor and the chocolate and crushed almond topping set off the whole sweet experience.
