Silver Dolphin Books - Book Review

Silver Dolphin Books is a company that's being featured for the Heck Of A Celebration blog event I'm hosting. During the event I will be featuring companies that offer products and gifts suitable for birthday parties.

Silver Dolphin Books publishes activity, novelty, and educational nonfiction books for preschoolers to 12-year-olds.  Their books are interactive and educational.  I've done a few reviews and giveaways for them in the past and have always been pleased with the quality and educational impact of their books.  The most recent review I did was for Amazing X-Rays:  The  Human Body.
This book is chock-full of information about the human body and x-rays.  There's not a lot of pages, but there's a lot to learn.  Included with the book is sixteen real x-rays and a light box.

Using the book's unique built-in light box, curious readers can clip on one of the 16 included acetate x-rays to examine close-up. They'll see the kinds of details real doctors see, and in the process, begin to understand human anatomy and the skeletal system. Throughout the colorful spreads in the book, junior radiologists will find engaging, entertaining text and a wealth of x-ray images, photographs, and illustrations to guide them in their studies.
Amazing X-Rays:  The Human Body is interactive and informative.  All six of my kids have used this book to see x-rays up close and to learn about the human body.  I've even looked through it and was given a refresher on information I learned while in school.  The artful conception of the book and hardback covers make it visually appealing.

There's even an envelope built in to the book so that the x-rays can be stored in and kept from being bent.  This is a book that I foresee being a keeper on our bookshelf.

I received product for review from Blue Dolphin Books.  The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way.  Please do your own research before purchasing products.  Your opinions and results may differ.
