There are six Farmers Market Knives available from Kuhn Rikon and all are different colors. Each one also has a different food marked on it. For instance, the purple one I own has onion designs placed throughout. The knives are made from Japanese high carbon stainless steel with a nonstick coating. I've used mine a few times for slicing up fruits and vegetables. Just because it has an onion on the knife doesn't mean it has to be used solely for onions. My husband, who does the majority of the cooking in the household, isn't as excited about the color and design as I am but does like how well the knife cuts. He's able to slice through foods easily and not much sticks to the knife. The sheath it comes with helps keeps hands protected when we place the knife back in our kitchen drawer.
Kuhn Rikon has been in business for over 70 years, producing the highest quality pressure cookers and kitchen tools available. Their quality is a result of both their superior technology and superior people, dedicated to bringing you the best in Swiss design.
I received produt for review from Kuhn Rikon. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products. Your opinions and results may differ.
