Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Veggie Pasta - Review and Giveaway

My kids like their fruits and vegetables.  I don't usually have to get after them to eat the "good stuff".  But sometimes I don't always incorporate the recommended daily intake into their meals.  There's no real replacement to actually eating fresh fruits and vegetables, but it's also nice to have products that help in ensuring we are getting what we need into our bodies.  Now there is a simple way to incorporate some of the daily recommended veggies into your family’s diet without tasting them!

By serving NEW KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Veggie Pasta, available now at your local Target or Walmart, your family will get a half serving of cauliflower per cup of product while still taking pleasure in the creamy, cheesy flavor of the original blue box dinner. The cauliflower is baked right into the macaroni, so your kids won’t fuss over eating their veggies and instead will smile.

I'll admit, cauliflower isn't top on our list of favorite vegetables.  My family just isn't a big fan of it.  So I was quite interested to see just how well we'd like the Veggie Pasta, being that cauliflower was a part of it. The new Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Veggie Pasta comes in two flavors, Original and Three Cheese.  They are prepared in the same way that the original boxed macaroni and cheese is made.

I prepared one box for lunch one day and another to go along with a supper meal.  I didn't tell anyone that there was cauliflower incorporated in it until after the fact.  Everyone was still satisfied with the taste and couldn't tell any difference.  The only negative thing that one of the kids had to say is that the Three Cheese variety was a little too cheesy.

As I mentioned before, eating fresh fruits and vegetables is the thing to do if you are able to.  However, if that's not available or your children are picky eaters who don't like them, the new Veggie Pasta from Kraft is certainly a tasty and easy way to get servings of vegetables in their diet.
