BARBAR - Flat Iron Review and Giveaway and Discount Code

BARBAR has many hair tools for purchase, including curling irons, flat irons, scissors, and brushes. It is based in Beverly Hills, California and has been in operation since 2000. The founder, Dominic Barbar, has turned his passion into reality by creating a premium line of hair care products that simplify the hair stylist's job.  In August of last year, I did a review for them for the BARBAR 8000 Eco Blow Dryer.  Now I'm happy to be doing a review for the BARBAR 2500 Ceramic-Ionic Flat Iron 1".

I don't have a lot of time to spend on my hair. Okay, I'll admit, I don't want to spend a lot of time on my hair. I want styling products that will give me the 'do I want with fast results. I also want products that give me the achieved look without a lot of hassle.  It doesn't help that I got my hair permed in March.  That's probably one of the biggest mistakes I made.  Now it's unruly and frizzy unless I really work with it.

I've been using the BARBAR 2500 Ceramic-Ionic Flat Iron on my hair and have found that I'm a lot less frustrated when styling my mane. The width of the iron is 1". I have thick multi-layered hair and am able to straighten it or give it volume in a decent amount of time.

This flat iron is a little pricier than others I've seen on the market.  However, I've used flat irons from all price ranges and this one is worth the money.  It has an ionic charger and a swivel corrd.  With Nano technology, it heats up to 410 F.  The digital LED temperature display makes it easy to read, especially in dim light.  I have thick hair and the 1" ceramic plate is just right for the amount of hair sections I use at a time.  The cord is quite long, which is nice, so I have plenty of room to reach my hair.  Sometimes, though, it does get caught up on the corner of my bathroom countertop.

As you can tell from the picture below, this flat iron does a nice job of straightening my hair.  I can get it from curly to straight in just a short time.  I have found that it works better in conjunction with heat protectant styling aids.
