Softlips has launched a complete packaging refresh including fresh new packaging graphics and a new logo, along with the kick-off of the "Softlips. So You." marketing campaign, all in time for the summer season. The signature slender sticks of Softlips and the light flavors/formulas remain the same, but the line has been updated with eye-catching graphics and a bold new logo.
Softlips products combine effective lip protection with SPF 20 and moisturizing emollients with a sheer glossing effect, making them perfect for natural lips or for adding protection/moisturizing over or under lipstick. The brand is currently available in the lip care section of the cough/cold aisles of food, retail, and drugstores nationwide.
I was given the opportunity to review the product line of Softlips lip conditioners. My two teenage daughters happily helped. I like Softlips because it does not have the heavy waxiness or stickiness of traditional lip balms, and it contains no animal by-products. I can wear it without feeling like I've got a glob on my lips and it does not easily transfer when I'm eating or drinking something. My lips feel softer and healthier when I wear Softlips. My two daughters really like the different flavors available and how it looks on their lips. They come in a slim stick that makes it easy to carry. The girls put theirs in their pockets or wallets and apply as needed. I think it would be nice if the tube had a ring on it so it could be attached to purses or backpacks. I haven't seen the new packaging in person yet, but have seen pictures. I like the overall new look and think it brings a fresh, eye-catching design.
