Random Tuesday Thoughts, being hosted right now by Stacy Uncorked, is a way to put all your miscellaneous thoughts all in one post.

HBO suckered me in. I went out to my cable company and purchased a six-channel HBO package just so I could watch the new season of True Blood. I've never been so addicted to a TV show in all my life. It's definitely not a show for the kids, but OH MY, this adult sure loves its excitement and allure.

Logan ran his second 5K run last Saturday. He didn't place this time, but it wasn't for lack of trying. He ran those three miles in a torrential downpour of rain. He enjoys doing the 5K runs so much I've registered him for five more throughout the year.

Our county is now in a state of emergency. Sunday night it rained so bad and the wind blew so hard that many trees were toppled over. A lot of damage was done. Thousands of homes are without power. You can't go anywhere in town to get ice, bottled water, or flashlights. They've all been bought up . It's a pretty chaotic scene.

Adam has his hammertoe surgery tomorrow. I'm more nervous than he is. He hasn't once declared nervousness about the surgery itself. He's more stressed about having to be laid up for two weeks during his summer break.

Mother nature is mad, really mad. Stay safe! My brother just had toe surgery to fix his bunyons(sp). Surgery was good, was in pain for a couple days and is doing good. Hoping for a speedy recovery for Adam.
Mother Nature has been in a fury all year. Stay safe if you can...
I love me some True Blood. It's SO bad that it's good! Happy Tuesday.
Mother Nature has definitely been off her meds this year.
Hope the surgery goes well.
True Blood was definitely my guilty pleasure!! But now that I can't find it online, I'm lost *tear*
Mother nature is DEFINITELY not a happy camper lately-I'm pretty sure she's mad at all of us O.o
That's very admirable of your son to run 5ks like that!! I'm glad that he really enjoys them that much :)
Good luck with Adam on his surgery! I'm sure you BOTH will be just fine ^.^
Sorry to hear about the storms! I swear, this season has been nuts all over the US! Fires, drough, flooding! Luckily we've escaped unscathed here in Atlanta!
Wow - didn't know you were having some nasty weather out your way. Sorry to hear that - will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I don't dare get sucked into HBO. I'll never un-arse myself from the sofa if that happens.
Hi, such lovely blog you have here. Hope everything is fine now.
I'm following you back. Thanks for the follow.
