Wordful Wednesday - Weekend Wrap Up

Friday and Saturday we spent the night at camp.  That's where you'll find us on weekends for the majority of the camping season.  Sunday we celebrated ANOTHER birthday.

Volunteer campers got together for most of the weekend to build an activities shed at camp.  The shed is being built from the ground up with sweat and hard work.  Most of it is done, but the finishing touches will go on next weekend.  The shed will house the camp's activity and craft items.

Nancy, a camper, brought her pet goat to camp.  The goat is only three weeks old and is bottle fed from a 7UP bottle with a nipple.  Sally, the goat, follows Nancy around just like she's her mama.

It doesn't take much to entertain us at camp.  There were a lot of spectators watching the shed building process, including Sally the goat.

Sunday we celebrated my nephew's 24th birthday at a park.  It was unbelievably cold, but everyone had a good time.  We all fought over who got to stand by the charcoal grills to get some heat.  In true Justin fashion, my nephew donned hula gear for the occasion with a fake grass skirt, lei, and coconut bra.

Justin is infatuated with A Christmas Story.  So much so that he's using the cash he received for his birthday to purchase a leg lamp.  His cake was even decorated with the infamous symbol.

That cracks me up about how much he likes that leg lamp!

Too cute about the pet goat following her around. I love how it's so attached to her.
