Twizzlers Landmark Summer

According to family travel expert Emily Kaufman, “The Travel Mom,” families are starting to think past the backyard “staycation” and are rediscovering the freedom of the open road. Kaufman shares the following tips for a fun and safe family road trip:

■Create a boredom bag. Convert a hanging travel cosmetic case into a case full of fun and hang it from the seat back in front of the kids’ seats. Consider creating fun works of art with Twizzlers Pull ‘n’ Peel Candy before snacking on them!

■Take your trip “online.” From GPS systems to phone applications, trips are no longer a navigation nightmare.

■Think through the snacks you pack. Avoid packing snacks that are easy to spill like juice boxes or snacks that melt. Try plastic bottles with sports tops and bring along Twizzlers Candy or Twizzlers Nibs Candy – they are easy to share and don’t melt, making them the perfect car ride treat.

I'd like to travel to Moab, Utah to see the natural sandstone arches and other unusual rock formations.  I've always been awed by the world-famous Delicate Arch.  I think the colors and textures of the rocks and arches would be a sight to see.

From now until September 4th, Twizzlers (www.twizzlers.com) is having a Landmark Summer Instant Win Sweepstakes.  You can enter daily for a chance to win a GPS Unit, a digital camera, and National Parks Guidebooks.  Or you could win the grand prize, a vacation to your favorite American landmark.

What famous American landmark do you want to see?

In exchange for this post, I am entering a contest for a Twizzlers Landmark Summer promotion prize pack as a member of the Mom Bloggers Club.  The opinions within this post are of my own.  Please do your own research before purchasing products or using services.  Your opinions and results may differ.

Terra, you have great ideas and that twizzler arch is too much! That is my husband's favorite candy and it has to be cherry. Nothing else will suffice!

These are all great tips for family trips, or even trips in general! :)

I think I'd love to visit some sort of mountains-I'm not exactly on the up and up with all the landmarks, but mountains seem plausible to me :)
