RandomTuesday Thoughts - Camper Etiquette

Stacy at Stacy Uncorked is still hosting Random Tuesday Thoughts while The Un Mom is on hiatus.  While I think The Un Mom is totally awesome, I'm okay with Stacy hosting because she's totally awesome too.

Stacy

Apparently the new girl at camp didn't get the unwritten memo on camper etiquette.  Rule #1:  Don't mess with people's stuff.  It'll pee a lot of people off and you certainly won't earn any popularity points.  My camera is near and dear to me.  It is currently holding 600 photos of MY life.  Last Saturday, new camper girl thought she'd get away with stealing it from me.  She was proven wrong.

My husband says that my boobies should be on the next episode of Ghost Hunter.  Like ghosts, he believes they're real but never sees them.  Says he'd like to get proof that they do, indeed, exist.  Hardy har har, honey.

My teenage daughter deleted me as a Facebook friend a couple of weeks ago when I found a picture of her that I didn't like.  The picture itself wasn't questionable but the actions in it were.  At first, I was miffed when she deleted me.  But I'm okay with it now.  Because, Facebook or not, I still have ways of finding out stuff.  Like the other day when my supervisor let me know she lost her car in the parking lot of a grocery store.  My kids can run, but they can't hide!

Proud Mommy Moment:  My son, Logan, will be competing in state finals next weekend for track.  He's qualified in a couple of the running events and is now headed for state.

When I said I was ready for warmer weather, I meant tolerable, warmer weather.  Not sticky, make me miserable, hot weather. You listening, Mother Nature? Hope so.  Otherwise I'll delete you from Facebook.

Love the post!

I deleted my mom from Facebook too. She kept leaving me notes as to her feeling of my inappropriate friends and creating drama with other family members. I had enough and deleted her. It's been a pleasant FB experience ever since. LOL

That was kind of ballsy (excuse my French) for that new girl to steal your camera! Hopefully she won't be a troublemaker.

BWAHAHAHA! Your hubby's comment about your boobies totally cracked me up!!

I'm not looking forward to when Princess Nagger gets old enough to experience the Facebook world - and less so about the potential of her deleting me from her friends. ;)

Yay Logan! That's really exciting! Wish him luck for me, willya? :)

Sorry, I think I stole your tolerable, warmer weather from Mother Nature after she sent us blazing heat early on...hopefully she'll get it squared away soon! ;)

Thanks for rockin' the random with me! :)

I hesitate to introduce my mother to Facebook--I'm not sure I'd want to be her friend.
Good luck to Logan at state!
We keep seesawing between weather that is masquerading as winter and spring time loveliness. I'd really be happy with just the springtime weather. Apparently Mother Nature is not taking requests right now.

I just knew you lived in Illinois. Summer has sprung, eh? Hot stuff!

You're a nicer mom than I. If my son unfriended me (he's 24), he'd no longer be welcome in my home...

;)

So random, I love your list!

Hahah, laughing over your ghost bobbies! I'd walk around topless at the beach if my hubby allowed it.

Oh and I agree on the sticky weather. It's going to be a high of 90 here in Atlanta today. Ick.

Congrats to Logan! I've got to tell my hubby about the Ghost Hunter boobies. I'm sure he feels that way sometimes. I'm glad to see Winter gone, but I've been complaining about the heat this week too.
