Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts - Review and #Giveaway

A couple of months ago I went into the local Wal-Mart store and saw a display for Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotics.  It's a noticeable display because it's large and interactive.  I did not pay a whole lot of attention to it but it definitely got my husband's attention.  He vowed to come back to the display another day and see what orthotics would fit his shoes because he's on his feet all day.  Fast forwarding to earlier this month, I was thrilled to find out I was selected to take part in a Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotics campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting.

I headed back to Wal-Mart at 2 A.M. one day to get a foot analysis at the Dr. Scholl's kiosk.  Thankfully the kiosk had been moved from the front of the medicine aisle to the back.  I think most people might be embarassed to get a foot analysis in front of a bunch of total strangers.  I removed my shoes and proceeded to get my foot analysis.  It is recommended that you remove your socks as well, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, not knowing how many other people's feet have touched the pad.  During the analysis, more than 2000 pressure sensors analyzed my feet and recommended exactly which pair of Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts were right for me.  High pressure spots are shown in red and low pressure spots are shown in blue.  The analysis took just a few short minutes and included standing still and balancing weight on one foot at a time.  There are several Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts on each side of the kiosk.  It is important to do the foot analysis to get the inserts that are right for you.  After taking the foot analysis, it was recommended that I get the CF410 Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts.

Each component of Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts works to provide your feet with a different benefit.  The top layer provides added comfort and long-lasting durability.  Another layer is constructed to provide custom cushioning for your foot pressure, while the bottom layer provides the right support for your arch type.  The custom orthotic inserts work by putting your foot into a more supported position and dispersing pressure levels evently across both feet.  They provide you with all day relief of tired, achy feet and eliminate foot discomfort. 

I have never tried orthotic inserts before so I can't compare these to others.  What I can say is that the Custom Fit Orthotic Inserts I received seem to mold to my feet just right and give immediate relief.  My feet do not hurt near as often as they used to and they are comfortable to walk around in.  The inserts do not fit your entire foot, but rather go in the back of the shoe.   The top of the insert where you place your foot is cushiony, not hard.  Each insert comes in a case to place them in when not in use.  They are a welcome relief for my feet.  Now that I know how well I like them, my husband will soon be getting his foot analysis and purchasing his own custom fit orthotic inserts.
