Mountainsmith - Review and Discount Code

Mountainsmith was founded in 1979 by Patrick Smith. His vision was to create a company that offers high quality outdoor gear based on the principles of value, durability, utility, and sustainability.  Over sixty percent of Mountainsmith's products contain ReDura materials, which is made of recycled plastic water bottles. Most Mountainsmith products are covered by a Lifetime Warranty against materials and workmanship defects. Their series includes camera, travel, backpack, and trekking products.

Being a camper, I am always searching for products that can last through the outdoor elements.  My family of campers plays in mud, takes hikes, and enjoys nature.  By the time the weekend is over, we reek of dust, dirt, and campfire.  I've worked with Mountainsmith before and was impressed with the Tailgater Cube I received so I was pleased to work with this company again for Terra's Two Year Blog Bash.

I received the Modular Hauler 3 System for review and had to pry it away from my husband's hands to fully look it over because he immediately claimed it as his.  He thought it was neat from the get-go with its three color-coded cubes.

The Modular Hauler 3 System, we found out, is not intended to carry cold foods or drinks like a cooler is used for.  It is instead to be used for gear, clothes, camping accessories, or other items you'd like to carry.  The three cubes are different colors so you can easily identify what's in each one.  For instance, we know that the yellow cube is what our toiletries are in, the lime one is what our canned goods are in, and the cinnamon one is what our camping tools are in.  We pack it like that every weekend when we are ready to head to camp.

To keep the three cubes together, they can be set inside a hauler.  The hauler has a main packing compartment to set all three cubes in and handles to shoulder it.  It has a sturdy bottom and makes it easy to tote all three cubes.  Once we have packed the three cubes with their contents, we set them inside the hauler to make it easy to lug them into our vehicle.

The three cubes don't have to be inside the hauler at all times.  If you prefer, you can take just one with you wherever you are going.  Each cube has a top zipper and a see-thru laminated mesh top panel.  There are shoulder straps on each one, with a PVC-free weather-resistant interior.  There are no reinforced bottoms on the cubes so the bottoms don't always lay perfectly flat, but that's the only minor weak spot I've noticed in them.  The hauler system is easy to clean, with a wipe of a wet rag.  The Modular Hauler 3 System has been beneficial to my family and consider it a first-rate addition to our camping essentials.

Thanks so much for a great review :)
