With the K'NEX Mario Kart Wii Building Sets my boys can have a combination of some of their favorite things. Available at www.knex.com, the new K'NEX Mario Kart Wii Building Sets are a way for kids to bring Nintendo's best-selling racing game to life.
Logan and Adam own Mario Kart DS for the Nintendo DS. It's a game they frequently play with characters they like. I remember Mario and Luigi from back in the day, so I think it's swell that K'NEX has come out with a line of building toys with these timeless characters.
Luigi and Standard Bike Building Set
Build Luigi and his Standard Bike from Mario Kart Wii. Includes a buildable, Luigi figure and K'NEX rods, connectors and bricks to build his bike. You can also use the package as a ramp when you're done building.
Mario and Standard Kart Building Set
Build Mario and his Standard Kart from Mario Kart Wii. Includes a buildable Mario figure, a banana peel item, plus a pull-back motor and K'NEX pieces to build his standard kart. The package can be reused as a ramp for even more-after building fun.
Logan and Adam always have a fun time building with K'NEX pieces and this time was no different. The boys were able to accomplish putting all the pieces together with just a little assistance from me. The Luigi building set has lesser pieces but Logan and Adam thought the pull-back motor on the Mario set made it a little more cool to play with. After building the sets, the boys have played races with them using the packages as ramps.
I recommend that you keep a close eye on the pieces when building, as they are somewhat small and could easily get lost. I also recommend that the age guidelines be followed on these building sets due to the small pieces.
Even more new Mario Kart Wii products, contests, videos, and bonus builds will be coming in June. Logan and Adam are anxiously awaiting to see what it's all about.
I received products for review from K'NEX. The opinions within this post are of my own and I was not influenced in any way. Please do your own research before purchasing products. Your opinions and results may differ.

Oh yes, I remember my friend buying this for her daughter. Well, she did not want to, but didn't have a choice. Kids just love this, don't they?
