Creativity For Kids - Review and #Giveaway

I always receive a beautiful store-bought gift from my husband for Mother's Day.  I am very thankful for his thoughtfulness, but must admit that I most like the handmade, crafted gifts from my children best.  Their love, creativity, and hard work shows through. 

Creativity for Kids has craft kits and art supplies to make that special gift for Mother's Day.  Or a rainy day. Or a special day.  Or any day.

I helped Emma, my eight year old step-daughter, work on making a special Mother's Day gift for her biological mother when I received the Mosaic Heart Frame from Creativity for Kids.  Included in this kit is an 8"x8" wooden frame with over 400 different colored acrylic tiles.  Also included is craft glue, glitter grout, personalizes sticker, an easel back, and hanging ribbon.  Instructions and ideas come with this kit that are easy to follow.

Before starting the kit, we laid out newspaper on the table to contain any messes.  I supervised Emma and gave her some assistance when she asked for it, but she was able to assemble the whole project by herself for the most part.  She used the acrylic tiles to make a colorful pattern with on the wooden frame and glued them on.  After that, Emma attached the easel back and hanging ribbon.  The test of patience came when we had to keep the frame still and unmoved while waiting for it to dry.  Once it was all put together and finished, Emma chose a favorite picture of herself to add to the frame.  She is on edge with excitement to present it to her mom on Mother's Day.  If I know Emma's mom like I think I do, she'll be thrilled to have this gift from the heart.
