I don't consider myself the greenest of the green, but having a resusable bag when I go shopping is mandatory. It's a small step that I take in helping reduce landfill waste. I challenge you to someday take a look around and see all the single-use bags that litter our ground. They're everywhere, I tell you, everywhere! Having and using a resuable bag is simple to do and is a small step that's easy even for the amateur eco-friendly person.
The concept of ChicoBag Company was started when Andy Keller saw the masses of single-use bags littering landfills and other spaces. Since its creation, ChicoBag has evolved into a company that designs reusable bags that are durable, tasteful, and unforgettable. ChicoBag is committed to helping consumers take an active part in saving the environment. The company practices what they preach by instituting environmental programs and doing their part in reducing carbon footprints.
Bottle slings, duffels, and produce bags are included in ChicoBag's line of products. I chose to review a reusable shopping bag from their Blossom Collection. I'm impressed with the size of the bag and how much it holds. I generally take it with me when I'm shopping for apparel, toys, or things of that nature. The bag holds up to 40 pounds and the shoulder length straps make it easy to carry around. Sewn inside the bag is a built-in pouch with a drawstring that I can stuff the bag into when not in use, making it compact. I like that it includes a clip on the pouch so I can attach it to my laynard when I'm not using it. That and I always have it with me then. The fabric that the bag consists of is made to easily wash off any smudges and the artwork is modern. After many times of stuffing and unstuffing the bag into the pouch, it does tend to look wrinkly. Other than that, this is a perfect bag for shopping trips.
One person will win a Cherry Blossom ChicoBag from the Blossom Collection.
