There's never any shortage of birthday celebrations with my family. Regardless of age, a celebration of some sorts is held for the person's special day. Last Sunday we celebrated my great-niece's fourth birthday at Going Bonkers. The place was so packed you had to fight for oxygen, but the kids had a super time playing arcade games, eating pizza and cake, and playing in the jungle gym.

No, Faythe is not writhing in pain. That's how she smiles when told to pose for the camera. Super fake, but super cute.

A princess cake for a princess girl

My great-niece, Madelyn, claimed this Skeeball machine as her own.
Even the bigger kids had fun getting tickets from the arcade games.
Birthday parties in my family are not only a way to celebrate a person's day, but gives the whole family some quality time together.
